Excessive Inventory/Discontinued Product

The Save Mart Companies will occasionally encounter promotional overstocks in our retail stores and/or warehouses.

When such overstocks occur, our Procurement Department or Customer Solutions Merchants will work with our suppliers to develop a strategy to right size inventory that may include:

• Accept Scan Allowance Support from our Supplier-Partners. In this case, the scan allowance is mutually agreed between The Save Mart Companies and the supplier, with the agreement that The Save Mart Companies will sell remaining inventory expeditiously.


• Return Excess Warehouse inventory to the vendor (RTV).
