Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
The Save Mart Companies prefers to pay its suppliers through Electronic Funds Transfer.
We offer two methods in which to receive funds electronically.
Automated Clearing House (ACH) with Email Remittance (Direct Deposit)
This payment method is preferred by The Save Mart Companies and the majority of our supplier partners to achieve the mutual benefit of cost savings.
Once payment has been initiated, suppliers will receive an email remittance at the email address supplied by their company to properly apply our payment to the correct invoices.
The ACH remittance includes the supplier number and name, store number, invoice number, invoice date, purchase order number, gross amount, discount amount, net amount and payment reference number.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
Suppliers that are 820 compliant may receive payment, including remittance advice, using The Save Mart Companies approved transmission format. Modifications requested by the supplier will not be accepted.
The EDI 820 Payment Order / Remittance Advice includes such data as payer and payee identification, including bank and account IDs, seller's invoice ID, adjustment amounts, P.O. number, gross amount,
discount amount, and net amount.
Please note that 820 transactions incur additional banking fees.
When a payment due date falls on a weekend or holiday, payment will be issued on the following business day.
Suppliers interested in receiving payments via EFT are asked to send the
EDI 820 Set-up Form
with banking information to
